Nearly all lithium batteries are required to pass section 38.3 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria (UN Transportation Testing) to ensure the safety of lithium batteries during shipping. We are proud of our investment to ensure our products have been UN38.3 certified.
The CE marking is the manufacturer’s declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.
These requirements cover primary (non-rechargeable) and secondary (rechargeable) lithium batteries for use as power sources in products. These requirements are intended to reduce the risk of fire or explosion when lithium batteries are used in a product.
